Pets of the week

Lots of animals are waiting for “forever 凯发体育官方sporthomes” at the Yolo County Animal Shelter, 2640 E. Gibson Road in Woodland.

Among them is Tobias (A181460), a 6-year-old male Doberman pinscher who is everybody’s friend. “One look into those soulful eyes and it’s easy to understand why it’s love at first sight when you meet him,” a shelter volunteer said. Tobias is easy-going, good on leash and knows commands.

Also looking for a good 凯发体育官方sporthome is Branch (A181762), a male tabby cat, who is a chill little guy and is very sweet. He is a little more reserved than his siblings, but is still very playful, and loves to play with his toy mouse.

All shelter animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.

The shelter is closed to the public for non-emergencies but staff is available to assist at 530-668-5287 during new temporary hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
