Name droppers: Grace Valley, Da Vinci students earn Chamber scholarships

Jonathan Nakamura of Grace Valley Christian Academy and Zahra Baxi of Da Vinci Charter Academy are the winners of this year’s $1,000 scholarship awards from the Davis Chamber of Commerce.

“The Davis Chamber received a number of competitive applications this year,” said Susan Kirby, chair of the chamber’s School Business Partnership Committee, which oversees the scholarship program, “and we are pleased to award these two deserving students money for their higher education. I’m so proud of our local businesses that donate money to make this happen.”
