Debate team offers Zoom bootcamp

Do you hate giving presentations and want to improve your public speaking skills? Do you want to diversify your perspectives? Or do you want to engage in discussion on a higher intellectual level? If so, consider attending the free two-week long Davis High School Speech and Debate Team’s Summer Bootcamp.

This is an online camp that the Davis High SAD captains are putting on via Zoom meetings from July 22 to Aug. 4.

Team captains, members and alumni will be introducing competitive speech and debate events as well as lecturing on various topics concerning government, economics, philosophy and more.

This event was formed as an opportunity for students grades 6-12 to learn more about the DHS SAD team, try out speech and debate, and use some of their empty summertime.

Register online at dhssad.carrd.co by July 22, the first day of camp. Email [email protected] for information.
