Assessor changes hours

WOODLAND — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Yolo County Assessor’s Office public counter hours will be changed to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, beginning on Aug. 3.

“We continue to make every effort to balance public service while creating a safe environment for both staff and residents during the pandemic,” the Assessor’s Office said in a statement.

Earlier this month, the Assessor’s Office closed the assessment roll ahead of the statutory deadline of July 1, despite the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The annual assessment roll hit $30.18 billion, a 5.15% increase over the prior year. Detailed figures for every area within Yolo County is posted online at凯发体育官方sporthome/showdocument?id=65046.

The 2020-21 assessed values will be available online for review beginning in late August at Unsecured tax bills are normally mailed in July and are due by Aug. 31. Secured property tax bills are typically mailed in mid-September. The Assessor’s informal review filing period for residential properties ends on Nov. 1.
